Privacy policy.
Last updated: 7 April 2026
This policy explains how Pixel Creative ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit pixelcreative.info, fill in our audit form, or become a client. We want this to be readable, not a wall of legalese, so we have kept it plain.
1. Who we are
Pixel Creative is a paid media agency managing Meta, Google, TikTok, X and LinkedIn advertising for small and medium businesses. For the purposes of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, we are the data controller of the information we collect through this website. You can contact us at hey@pixelcreative.info.
2. What we collect
We only collect information you voluntarily give us or that is necessary to run this website.
Information you provide directly
- Your name, work email address and company website when you submit the audit form.
- An approximate monthly ad spend band, so we can judge whether we are a good fit.
- Anything else you tell us in email or on calls once you become a client.
Information collected automatically
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) used to keep the site running and to defend against abuse.
- Limited analytics data, collected in an aggregated form, to help us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck.
We do not collect special category data (such as health, race, religion, or political views). Please do not send us any.
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis
- To reply to your audit request and deliver the free audit video. Legal basis: legitimate interest, because you actively asked us to.
- To provide our services once you become a client. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To send occasional updates about your account or service improvements. Legal basis: legitimate interest, and you can opt out at any time.
- To protect the website from bots, spam and abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- To meet legal and tax obligations where we have to. Legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Who we share it with
We keep your data tight. We do not sell it, rent it or trade it. The only parties who may process your data on our behalf are carefully selected suppliers we need to run our business:
- Our website host, for serving the site and logging requests.
- Our email provider, for sending and receiving messages.
- Our accounting software, where required for invoicing.
- The ad platforms themselves (Meta, Google, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) where we manage campaigns on your behalf and under your account.
Every supplier is bound by a data processing agreement and only processes data on our instructions.
5. Cookies and tracking
This site uses a small number of cookies: those strictly necessary to make the website function, and (if analytics is loaded) a single aggregated analytics cookie that does not identify you personally. We do not use advertising cookies on this website, and we do not retarget visitors to the marketing site itself. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first through a cookie banner.
6. How long we keep it
- Audit form submissions: up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted.
- Client records: for the duration of the engagement and 6 years afterwards, as required by UK accounting law.
- Server logs: up to 30 days, then automatically rotated out.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to erase your data (subject to our legal retention obligations).
- Ask us to stop or limit certain processing.
- Ask for a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw any consent you have given us, at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email hey@pixelcreative.info. We will respond within 30 days.
8. How we keep it safe
We use HTTPS across the site, access controls on our tools, strong unique passwords with two-factor authentication, encrypted backups, and principle-of-least-privilege for team access. No system is perfect, but we take this seriously.
9. International transfers
Some of our suppliers are based outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where that is the case, we only work with providers who either operate under UK adequacy decisions or have appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) in place.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please tell us first and we will do our best to fix it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
11. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy materially, we will refresh the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify existing clients by email.
